Sometimes we try so hard to make the “right" choice in an improv scene, that we don’t end up making any choices at all. John Lutz will guide you through some exercises to help you stop trying to figure out the scene, so that you can let the improv take you to places that you never could have predicted.

John Lutz has been acting, improvising and writing for over 30 years. You may know him best as Lutz from 30 Rock. Other screen appearances include: Loot, Chicago Med, The Good Wife, and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. Film credits include The Comedian, Sisters, Sleepwalk with Me and Friends with Kids. He wrote for Saturday Night Live from 2004-2010 and is currently in his 11th year writing for Late Night with Seth Meyers. For 3 years, he toured the world from Bangkok to Rockford, IL with The Second City National Touring Company. He recently wrote and produced the NY Times bestselling audiobook Escape from Virtual Island. He created, co-wrote and produced the series Mapleworth Murders with Paula Pell, which is streaming on Roku. He is currently featured in the 3rd season of Girls5Eva on Netflix.
